Registered with Ofsted, we offer a professional & friendly child care setting, judged as 'Outstanding' in our previous 3 inspections - most recently in November 2019.
We live in a quiet cul de sac in the Roundhill area of Ingleby Barwick local to schools, nurseries,shops and bus services.
We utilise a spacious playroom leading off into a secure garden which is partly decked and a grassed with playhouse promoting daily sessions of outdoor play. Our play room is light & airy, child orientated with various age appropriate toys & resources to facilitate learning and develop imagination.
Our aim is to provide a reliable, caring & secure setting where children can have fun whilst learning and developing through a carefully balanced combination of adult lead and child initated play. Parents can be confident their child will be in an enabling environment where they will have experiences that relate to their individual needs/interests and that we promote equality of opportunity having an anti-discriminatory practice, ensuring that every child is included and supported.
We have enhanced CRB checks, paediatric first aid qualifications, 5* food hygiene certificate, promoting heath and wellbeing & regularly attend other professional development courses.
We have an inclusive environment & endeavour to build positive relationships with parents to work together considering the needs of you as a parent and the uniqueness of your child in planning/keeping routines and activities.
We have high regard for safeguarding and the welfare requirements of every child with in our setting and cover all the steps that providers must take to keep children safe and promote their welfare.
We're also members of the informal Thornaby and Ingleby childminders group, organising different events and offering holiday cover if required.
In line with the latest EYFS framework release in Sept 2015 we model and encourage children to have great British Values as well as respecting diversity within other groups and challenge predjudice.
